About Our Diecast

About our race track

Timber Creek Speedway, located in the wooded foothills of upstate New York, is a fully custom-engineered diecast racing facility built for precision, speed, and cinematic racing action. The course is constructed around a dual-lane Hot Wheels orange track system, delivering consistent alignment and high-momentum performance for competitive side-by-side racing.

Gravity diecast racing

Racers launch from an elevated dual-lane start gate, accelerating down a long downhill straight engineered to maximize velocity before entering the technical core of the circuit. The layout features professional-grade 3D printed racing three 180-degree and a final single 90-degree turn, selected for their smooth geometry, stable cornering profiles, and minimized energy loss.

At the upper loop, the 3D printed 180° turn provides a sweeping hairpin that transitions cars cleanly back toward the canyon floor, while paired 3D printed 180° turns on the opposite end form a tight, fast-entry sequence requiring precise wheel balance and optimized weight tuning to maintain lane integrity. The last turn to the finish line is by an inclined 90° corner that sends race cars to the finishing line.

The track is seamlessly integrated into a hand-sculpted mountain and creek bed environment. The terrain is formed from carved foam and textured plaster, tinted in natural stone hues and accented with rock debris, recessed channels, and raised outcrops. This rugged landscape creates the signature Timber Creek aesthetic while preserving proper wall clearance, slope control, and unobstructed lane flow throughout the course. Neutral-toned draping forms canyon banks that visually blend with the rockwork without impacting lane performance.

Across the speedway, orange straight Hot Wheels track and inclined corner modules are anchored to maintain perfectly level transitions, reduce vibration, and ensure accurate wheel tracking. The finish section features a foam deceleration block for safe, controlled stopping after high-speed runs.

Designed for reliability, competitive fairness, and visual impact, Timber Creek Speedway is optimized for filmed race series, time-trial events, and diecast tournament brackets - capturing the spirit of upstate wilderness racing with the precision of professional track engineering.
