Start by thinking about balance. Weight placed too high can make a car feel unsettled in direction changes. Weight placed too far forward or rearward can change how the car enters and exits bends. On a course with multiple turns and straights, a controlled car often beats a heavy car that cannot hold its line.
Secure any added material completely. Nothing should shift, rattle, or detach during shipping or a run. Use clean, durable methods that remain within the rules. Then recheck wheel clearance and rolling performance after every change. A gram of weight is not worth much if it introduces body rub.
Give Your Car a Final Tech Check
