Reduce Friction Without Breaking the Rules

Added mass can help a car maintain momentum, especially if the track includes longer runs or transitions. But too much weight, or weight placed too high, can make the car less stable.
Keep the center of gravity low whenever the rules and the body design allow it. Think about balance from front to rear as well. A car that loads one end too heavily may not behave the way you expect through turns. There is no universal placement that wins every course. Test results should make the final call.
If you do not have a full road course at home, you can still learn a lot with a basic ramp and a consistent test lane. Compare runs, keep notes, and look for repeatable changes. A single lucky pass is not a setup. Several consistent passes are useful data.
How a Mail-In Race Day Works
Once your build is ready, package it so it arrives ready for the grid. Protect the car from crushing, loose parts, and cosmetic damage. Include the required identification information exactly as the event instructions request. Race control needs to know whose car is whose before the first timed run begins.
